Introduction
The Cardiff Member Network event covered ukactive’s Vision 2030, including plans to grow participation by five million additional users through enhanced consumer insight and sector support. The session highlighted ukactive’s three core functions—support, representation and growth—and outlined top sector risks such as cyber security, cost‑of‑living pressures, energy costs, recruitment and health‑and‑safety incidents. Partner presentations from Orbit 4, EGYM, Precor and Future Fit explored asset management, preventative health, innovative facility design and workforce development. The event also focused heavily on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, showcasing the Inclusive Maturity Model and ukactive’s Next Generation strategy to increase activity among children and young people.
