Andrea has been the Marketing Director at David Lloyd Leisure since 2017 and serves on the Executive Board. She leads brand strategy, customer insight, corporate communications and member retention strategies, playing a key role in driving growth and the company’s premium positioning over the last 10 years. She also leads in promoting the organisations DEI strategy as well as serving as part of the ESG Committee.
Over the last 30 years, she has led successful marketing and communications teams across a number of global leisure organisations such as Science Museum Group and Merlin Entertainments, as well as running her own consultancy for 5 years.
The mission of UK Active resonates deeply with her personal and professional interest and values. Leading the insight team, she sees first hand the needs of differing audience groups, through all life stages from small children to older adults, and recognises the importance of improving the health of the nation by getting people more active more often.
Personally, being healthy and fit has been a priority throughout her life and increasingly into older age. She has taken up cold water sea swimming in the last 5 years along with her husband who also runs a health & fitness business.
