ukactive has today (18 December) announced the unmissable events for your diary in 2020, with all tickets released together for the first time.
Building on this year’s success, 2020 will see the return of the sell-out boutique event, Sweat; the industry-leading Active Uprising conference and ukactive Awards; and the unrivalled policy event, the ukactive National Summit.
Tickets for all events have been released today, offering early-bird rates for those who want to book now to avoid disappointment, or those looking to invest any remaining budget before the end of the calendar year.
Details of the themes for each event provide a flavour of the main topics for 2020, with the full agenda and speakers for each event set to be confirmed closer to the time.
Speakers in 2019 included Olympian Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Health Secretary Matt Hancock, Chair of the RCGP Professor Helen Stokes-Lampard, economist Lord Gus O’Donnell, cricketer Jeremy Snape and Olympian Joanna Rowsell-Shand MBE – with a host of incredible speakers being kept under wraps for 2020.

Sweat: Thursday 20 February. The Old Truman Brewery, London
In 2019, Sweat asked “Have we reached peak boutique?” The answer, emphatically, was no. Now in its fourth year, Sweat will explore the opportunities for further growth and expansion within boutique fitness, as well as the lessons for the wider sector.

‘Together we learn, Together we lead, Together we grow’ – Active Uprising 2020 will focus on these principles of collaboration and shared insight to drive growth. Join us for our final year in Manchester, where we will welcome two A-list sport stars as well as the leading lights from the sector.
National Summit 2020: Tuesday 20 October. London
The ukactive National Summit is moving to a new home in the capital, following many successful years at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster. ukactive will be partnering with an iconic institution to deliver the big policy messages to Whitehall, support the growth of the sector and deliver a more active nation.
