Mae ukactive wedi ysgrifennu at y Canghellor a arweinwyr y pleidiau i rybuddio am y perygl i iechyd cenedlaethol a'r economi os cyflwynir unrhyw gynnydd mewn trethi busnes ar gyfer y sector ym Mwsget wythnos nesaf.<\/p>\n

Mae'r llythyr at y Canghellor yn tanlinellu maint a graddfa sector iechyd a ffitrwydd y DU sy'n gwasanaethu mwy na 11.5 miliwn o aelodau ac a ailddigwyddodd dros 600 miliwn o ymweliadau \u00e2 campfeydd, pyllau a chanolfannau hamdden y llynedd (Adroddiad Marchnad Iechyd a Ffitrwydd y DU 2025).<\/p>\n

Mae'r llythyr yn nodi, er bod y sector yn gyffredinol wedi gweld twf cryf, bod gallu cyfleusadrau i ddiwallu galw a panghenraid cynyddol y cyhoedd yn cael ei fygwth gan gostau gweithredu cynyddol, hyder isel ymhlith buddsoddwyr, ac ansicrwydd ynghylch cyllid i ddisodli cyfleusterau sy'n heneiddio, yn enwedig pyllau nofio.<\/p>\n

Dywed wrth ukactive fod y cyfuniad o gostau ynni, cyfleustodau a chyflogaeth cynyddol eisoes wedi effeithio ar ddarparu gwasanaeth a recriwtio ar gyfer llawer o gyfleusterau. Dywed llawer os caiff costau gweithredu eu cynnyddu eto yn dilyn y cynnydd mewn Cyfraniadau Yswiriant Gwladol y cyflogwr yn y Gyllideb ddiweddaraf, y bydd yn eu gorfodi i gynyddu prisiau, lleihau gwasanaethau, rhoi gorau i gynlluniau ehangu ac o bosibl gau.<\/p>\n

Mae'r llythyr yn rhybuddio Rachel Reeves AS y bydd unrhyw gynnydd pellach mewn trethi yn gadael llawer o weithredwyr heb ddim dewis ond codi prisiau, a fydd yn gwaethafu anghydraddoldebau iechyd trwy gael effaith anghymesur ar gymunedau difreintiedig \u2013 gan gyfyngu ar allu'r sector i wella iechyd a lles y genedl, a chwarae ei ran thebycaf wrth dyfu'r economi.<\/p>\n

Anfonwyd llythyrau tebyg at arweinwyr y pleidiau gwrthbleidiol, gan amlygu r\u00f4l allweddol y sector wrth fynd i\u2019\u0632 orfynd i'\u0632 ymdopi \u00e2 heriau mwyaf y Llywodraeth, ac mae ukactive hefyd wedi bod yn rhoi briff i Aelodau Seneddol ar bryderon ei aelodau dros y misoedd diwethaf.<\/p>\n

Ynghyd \u00e2 annog y Llywodraeth i beidio \u00e2 chodi trethi ar fusnesau, gofynn\u00f0i gyflwyniad swyddogol ukactive i'r Gyllideb am fesurau pellach i roi hwb i'r sector gweithgaredd corfforol, gan gynnwys ehangu'r cynllun Beicio i'r Gwaith i gynnwys aelodaeth o gampfeydd a gwasanaethau ffitrwydd eraill, diwygiad treth a rheoleiddio, a chymorth ychwanegol ar gyfer hamdden gyhoeddus.<\/p>\n

Daw galwad heddiw yn erbyn cefndir o iechyd cyhoeddus gwael ac anweithgarwch corfforol, gyda 2.8 miliwn o bobl o oedran gweithio allan o waith ar hyn o bryd a salwch yn y gweithle yn cyrraedd 148.9 miliwn o ddyddiau gwaith \u2013 gan gostio \u00a3103 biliwn y flwyddyn i'r economi.<\/p>\n

Mae arolwg Active Lives Sport England yn dangos bod dros chwarter (25.7%) o oedolion yng Nghymru Loegr yn cael eu dosbarthu fel rhai anweithgar (sy'n golygu eu bod yn gwneud llai na 30 munud o weithgarwch corfforol yr wythnos), ynghyd \u00e2 bron i draean (29.6%) o blant.<\/p>\n

Data newydd a gyhoeddwyd yr wythnos diwethaf yn y Moving Communities adroddiad<\/a> yn dangos pwysigrwydd cynyddol cyfleusterau a gwasanaethau'r sector. Mae cyfranogiad mewn gweithgareddau campfa wedi cynyddu 13% o'i gymharu \u00e2'r llynedd \u2013 yr ail gynnydd mwyaf yn nifer yr ymweliadau yn \u00f4l math o weithgaredd.<\/p>\n

Mae gWEITHGAREDD CORFFOROL A YMARFER RHEOLAIDD WEDI bod profedig<\/a> i wella deilliannau iechyd a lleihau'r risg o gyflyrau iechyd hirdymor a salwch, gan gynnwys gostyngiad o 40% yn y risg o ddiabetes math 2, clefyd cardiofasgwlaidd (o 35%), dementia (o 30%) a rhai canserau (o 20%).<\/p>\n
