Mae Cenedlaeth Alpha yn gyrru galw am wasanaethau ffitrwydd a iechyd yn \u00f4l ffigurau a ryddhawyd gan ukactive heddiw (12 Tachwedd), wrth iddo gyhoeddi arweiniad newydd i gefnogi cyfleusterau ffitrwydd a hamdden sy'n ymgysylltu \u00e2 phlant a phobl ifanc.<\/p>\n

Canfu arolwg* o fwy na 1,000 o blant rhwng saith a 14 oed fod bron i hanner (49%) y plant a'r bobl ifanc yn dweud eu bod eisiau bod yn heini ac yn iach wrth iddynt dyfu i fod yn oedolion, sy'n dangos ymwybyddiaeth aeddfed o iechyd a llesiant personol.<\/p>\n

Wedi'i gynnal gyda'r asiantaeth ddeallusrwydd plant a theulu Beano Brain, canfu'r p\u00f4l hefyd fod 48% o blant yn dweud eu bod yn credu ei bod yn "bwysig cadw'n gorfforol heini i fod yn iach", sy'n arwydd o gydnabyddiaeth gynnar o'i bwysigrwydd.<\/p>\n

Mae'n golygu bod bron i chwarter y plant a'r bobl ifanc (23%) yn cymryd rhan mewn sesiynau campfa, sy'n cyfateb i amcangyfrif cyfanswm poblogaeth o 1,697,900, ac yn gosod campfeydd a ffitrwydd ymhlith y 10 gweithgaredd uchaf y mae plant a phobl ifanc bellach yn cymryd rhan ynddynt.<\/p>\n

Canllaw newydd<\/a> gan ukactive, o'r enw, \u2018Children and Young People in Gym and Group Exercise Facilities\u2019, a gyhoeddir heddiw ac sy'n rhan o \u2018 Strategiaeth y Genhedlaeth Nesaf<\/a>\u2019 am fuddsoddi yn nyfodol iechyd a hapusrwydd plant a phobl ictionary ifanc trwy gael miliwn yn fwy o bobl yn fywiog erbyn 2030.<\/p>\n

Mae'r ddogfen ganllaw wedi'i datblygu a'i chymeradwyo gan Bwyllgor Safonau a Deddfwriaeth ukactive, arbenigwyr cyfreithiol, cynrychiolwyr y sector, ac bartneriaid sy'n arbenigo mewn gweithgaredd corfforol i blant a phobl ifanc.<\/p>\n

Bydd yn helpu gweithredwyr i gefnogi a chroesawu plant a phobl ifanc dros ddeg oed i gyfleusterau ffitrwydd a hamdden, gyda argymhellion yn benodol yn ymwneud \u00e2\u2019r ardal gampfa a sesiynau ymarfer corff gr\u0175p.<\/p>\n

Fe'i cynlluniwyd i hyrwyddo defnydd diogel a gorau posibl o gyfleusterau ffitrwydd a hamdden ac mae'n cynnwys argymhellion ar gyfer gweithgareddau addas, goruchwylio plant a phobl theuraidd mewn cyfleusterau, a chyngor ar oedrannau priodol ar gyfer gweithgareddau campfa a gr\u0175p.<\/p>\n

Mae hefyd yn cynnwys enghreifftiau ymarferol ac astudiaethau achos o fywyd go iawn gan brif weithredwyr a chyflenwyr megis Everyone Active, Lifestyle Fitness, Les Mills, Nuffield Health, ac Oldham Active, sydd wedi'u cynllunio i helpu eraill i sefydlu neu fireinio eu strategaethau ar gyfer ymgysylltu \u00e2 phlant a phobl ifanc.<\/p>\n

Cyhoeddir y canllaw wrth i ukactive alw ar y Llywodraeth i gydnabu a chefnogi r\u00f4l aelodau ukactive wrth ysgogi lefelau gweithgaredd corfforol ymhlith plant a phobl ifanc.<\/p>\n

Mae ychydig o dan hanner yr holl blant a phobl ifanc (47.8% neu 3.5 miliwn) yn cyrraedd y cyfartaledd a argymhellir o 60 munud o weithgarwch y dydd, ond mae gan y Llywodraeth y cyfle i weithio mewn partneriaeth \u00e2'r sector gweithgarwch corfforol i sicrhau bod gan bob plentyn a pherson ifanc fynediad at gyfleusterau.<\/p>\n

Mae ukactive yn galw ar y Llywodraeth i wneud gweithgaredd corfforol yn rhan graidd o'i Strategith Ieuenctid Genedlaethol a harneisio p\u0175er y sector yn hon a'i Rhwydwaith Partneriaeth Addysg Gorfforol a Chwaraeon Ysgol newydd.<\/p>\n
