ukactive partners with FIBO and sends across a delegation of staff to Cologne each year for the same reason as hundreds of ukactive members who make the journey over the North Sea: it’s a chance to come together, network, discuss and debate, and set the agenda for the year ahead.
Attended by exhibitors from more than 120 countries, FIBO is a hive of activity for everyone, from the juggernauts of the sector to new fitness start-ups. The opportunity to showcase your business and engage with new innovative sector products and trends is second to none.
With more than 500 of our members in attendance, both showcasing and exploring, we are excited this year to host our annual dinner on the Rhine, taking place on the Thursday evening.
This sold-out event represents another fantastic platform to unite the physical activity movement, through an evening of networking that will help to shape the physical activity agenda for the months ahead.
As a major milestone in the physical activity calendar, FIBO is also the perfect stage to introduce a new addition to our Client Services Team – Dave Alstead, who joins ukactive as Head of Member Experience.
Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience – most recently working with industry titans Les Mills – bolstering our fantastic team alongside Head of Key Accounts Pete Wells and Head of Membership Lisa Lloyd.
This is part of a concerted effort from ukactive to deliver more value to our members, alongside innovative offerings such as our new facility modelling and latent demand tool, sector-leading research and in-depth policy guidance.
