ActiveLab LIVE @ Active Uprising 2019 returns, this time at the sectors largest event of the year.
32 innovative businesses have taken part in 3 annual ActiveLab programmes. Over the course of these 3 programmes, 23 workshops and 9 networking events have been delivered, over 50+ experts have been involved in mentoring, advising or programme delivery, over 1.9 million people have been reached through ActiveLab press communications and 3 pitching events to over 1000 key physical activity stakeholders.

Across 12-weeks, ActiveLab provides actionable insight to enable innovative businesses to scale throughout the UK and beyond. This is delivered through workshops, collaboration sessions, 1:1 mentorships, sector expert sessions and events to connect businesses with key stakeholders from throughout the sector.
We’re looking for great founders with innovative products or services which get more people, more active, more often. All products and services must have a digital application, fall within the stated categories and be ready to scale throughout the UK and beyond.
Applications are selected against their level of innovation, team credentials and potential to disrupt to the physical activity sector. Assessed by mentors, partners and ukactive.
All applicants will have access to ActiveLab’s innovation network. So regardless of whether your business is accepted onto the programme, you will still have access to exclusive events, influencers and like-minded peers.
You should have a tested and technically defensible product, a team with a track record and a innovative product or service ready to scale throughout the UK and beyond.
No, and we encourage businesses from around the world to apply. However, we expect teams to attend all workshop sessions through either physical or virtual presence. All 1-1 sessions can be arranged at the discretion of your mentor, whether that’s in person, by email, through Skype or on the phone. The most benefit from the ActiveLab programme can be realised when present in the UK throughout the programme.
