ukactive has today (20 September) unveiled the keynote speakers for the Active Training Conference and Awards, which this year will take place in Birmingham.
With just days left for final entries to the Awards, ukactive has confirmed that Sport England Director of Workforce Caroline Fraser will join the speaker line-up, setting out the organisation’s long-term strategy for a professional workforce.
And Purple Cubed Chairman Jane Sunley will take to the stage to reveal to delegates how to extract the best out of their employees in a modern economy.
The event, on 15 November, has become a firm fixture in the physical activity sector calendar and will bring together more than 200 leading figures in workforce development.
This year the Conference and Awards will move from Reading to Unique Venues Birmingham as part of its continued growth and evolution.
The format has also been enhanced to create a more interactive experience, with new workshops at the Conference offering greater opportunities for collaboration and learning.
The Active Training Awards also see changes, with the introduction of a brand new award category – Inclusion and Diversity Champion – which recognises any individual that can demonstrate the positive impact they have made through bringing inclusion and diversity into the workplace.
