ukactive today launched the mid-year Business Performance Benchmarking Insight Report for 2015, produced in partnership with leading audit and accountancy firm Mazars. The report delivers the most comprehensive look at the key trends of the health, fitness and leisure sector based on unique data from a representative sample of more than 600 UK fitness and leisure sites, with a combined membership of over 1 million people.

ukactive today announced that the UK will play a leading role in the Action Learning for Children in Schools (ALCIS) project co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union and as part of a series of events to mark the inaugural European Week of Sport, which runs between 7 - 13 September 2015.

The pilot programme will reach more than 2000 residents, all of whom will be offered personalised support to become more active.
